TACOMA, May 15—Jim Lowman pitched a four-hit shutout to give the Bremerton Bluejackets a 6-0 Western International League win over the Tacoma Tigers Thursday night.

Lavis York Leaves Caps
Vancouver, May 15—Vancouver Capilanos have announced first baseman Lavis York has left the club for home in Aragon, Georgia due to a family illness.
York got off to a promising start before being hit by a pitch May 5 and sitting out much of the rest of the time with a swollen left arm.
He was batting .311 (14 for 45), with a double, a triple, a home run, 11 RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases as per Western International League stats on May 8. He appeared in a final game on May 9, going 0-for-1.
