SPOKANE, June 15 — With the score knotted at 4-4 in the eighth inning, Lee Mohr slugged a deep fly to to left which permitted Len Tran to score to give the Vancouver Capilanos a 5-4 over the Spokane Indians tonight.
Tran had singled and reached third on Jim Estrada’s single and Pete Jonas’ sacrifice.
Jonas went the distance for his second win since re-joining Vancouver, scattering 11 hits, striking out seven and walking three.

Meister Joins Yakima From Rainiers
YAKIMA, — Jack Meister, 19 year old right-hander, has joined the Yakima Stars pitching staff on option from the Seattle Rainiers, owner Fred Mercy Jr. of the Western International League club reveals.
Meister started the season with the Stars but was picked up by the Coast League club after he pitched an early season two-hit shutout against Victoria.
